Pour Picks
Everything a writer, podcaster, or reviewer needs to cover Pour Picks accurately.
Pour Picks is a solo-built iOS app for bourbon collectors. It launched on the App Store on May 9, 2026. Fact sheet, ready-to-quote boilerplate, and contact are all on this page. Brand assets and screenshots are available on request at support@pourpicks.app.
Pour Picks is the iOS cellar app for bourbon collectors: scan any bottle, AI reads the label, and the app builds a private cellar of what you own, what you've poured, and what your collection is worth.
Most bourbon apps fall into one of two categories. Some are community review sites, which are built around what other people think of a bottle. Others are general spirits apps that treat bourbon like a category to be completed rather than a collection to be lived with. Neither answers the question a collector actually asks most nights, which is "what should I pour from what I already own."
Pour Picks is designed around that question. Your cellar is the center of the app, not the catalog. The recommender reads from your shelf, not from a global rankings list. There are no purchase links, no allocation leaderboards, and nothing that nudges you to drink more than you wanted to.

Long form, around 110 words:
Pour Picks is an iOS cellar app for adult bourbon collectors, launched on the App Store in May 2026 by an independent solo developer. The app scans any bottle using Claude Vision to read the label, builds a private cellar of what the user owns, and runs a "Pour Tonight" recommender that picks a bottle from the user's own shelf based on what they've poured recently, the time of year, and personal taste signals. The catalog covers roughly 4,700 American whiskeys and grows through scan-driven corrections. Pour Picks is bootstrapped, sells no data, shows no ads, and does not sell alcohol. The core app is free; an optional Cask Club subscription unlocks advanced cellar features.
